Coaching
I help people to develop the ability to understand their own
performance and the impact that they have, and learn how to systematically improve both performance
and impact. I coach in the skills of leadership, persuasion
and influence, conversation and dialogue. I coach face-to-face and via
telephone and e-mail.
As well as coaching myself I, have set up and managed coaching and mentoring programmes for clients
working with a network of coaches to make sure that each person gets the right
coach for them. I am not a 'qualified' coach. At least I don't have
a qualification from any of the myriad organisations that have sprung up in
recent years.
However I have been coaching for many years and take my own professional
development as a coach very seriously.
The most important factor in successful coaching is getting the right person
to work with you. Someone who can help with the content that you need to
develop and also build a strong working relationship. To make sure that
